Parkview Gate Activities The Gate students have been working on several projects: They have been working with a robot; however, there are no pictures available at this time. Several of the students have developed their own web pages which they have designed and coded themselves. They have ordered components to build there own computer. The computer will be used for video editing and features very fast hardware and video editing software. Pictures of the building process will be online soon. The Gate students are planning a field trip to Marine World for a fun and interesting day. Recently, they competed in a county-wide competition which required them to do extensive research and make a Powerpoint presentation. The presentation was based on a scenerio where they time-traveled to 1789 and tried to convince Thomas Jefferson to change his proposal to Congress to adapt a base 10 measuring system.
